Emsella BTL

The Emsella BTL Chair uses electromagnetic energy to engage all of the muscles of the pelvis at one time. The chair causes the muscles to continuously contract, similar to a kegel exercise, but much stronger. It delivers thousands of pelvic floor muscle contractions in a single session. This repeated movement results in stronger pelvic floor muscles, giving the patient more control of those muscles while laughing, coughing, and sneezing.

Ideal candidates for Emsella BTL are women who struggle with urinary incontinence and are looking for a non-invasive, effective solution. It helps to put a stop to leakage and the sudden urge to go to the bathroom.

During the 28-minute treatment, women report feeling a tingling sensation resulting from the pelvic floor contracting. For optimal results, patients need 6 treatments which are scheduled twice a week for 3 weeks. Most patients notice results after just one treatment, but the full effect will be seen after the series of 6 treatments with our team. After treatment you can expect better neuromuscular control, less urges to urinate, and less leaking upon sneezing, coughing, or laughing.

There is no downtime associated with Emsella BTL, the treatment takes about 28 minutes to complete. After your appointment, you are able to return to your regular activities immediately. Some women plan treatment during their lunch break!
