How Does Fat Freezing Work?

How Does Fat Freezing Work?

Do you have stubborn fat around your abdomen or thighs that just won’t respond to diet or exercise? Are you doing all the right things, but not seeing the right results?

Then it’s time to discover the power of fat freezing with FDA-approved CoolSculpting!

How Does Fat Freezing Work with CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting harnesses the power of freezing energy, which is used to penetrate skin layers until the energy finds those fat cells clustered underneath the subdermal layer. That energy gets to work freezing and crystallizing the fat cells; over time, this crystallization damages the fat cells, causing them to break down altogether. The damaged cells are drained via the body’s lymphatic systems, leaving behind a more contoured appearance.

The entire process takes about 8 to 12 weeks and is a great choice for clients who are ready to get rid of stubborn fat that won’t respond to traditional diet and exercise.

What to Expect from Your CoolSculpting Procedure

Interested in experiencing CoolSculpting for yourself?

Here’s what you can expect from your procedure: During your consultation, you’ll work with your CoolSculpting expert to understand which body area should be treated. During the actual CoolSculpting treatment, a handpiece will be applied to your body area (most patients opt to treat the stomach, thighs, or upper arms). The entire procedure takes about an hour, at which point the patient can expect to experience slight pressure and cooling. Most patients are able to read, catch up on emails, or even nap during the treatment.

You’ll be able to get back to your normal routine right away, although we don’t recommend working out for the first 24 hours after your CoolSculpting session.
